Governor Schwarzenegger Backs Aerial Biochemical Spraying That Harms Children

On September 9th, 2007 several planes hired by the State of California Food and Agricultural Department (CDFA) flying at an altitude of approximately 500ft sprayed the untested biochemical, CheckMate?OLR-F, on over 30,000 citizens in Monterey and other surrounding cities in California. This occurred without the permission of the citizens. The spraying continued for three nights from approximately 8pm to 5am. About 1,500 pounds of biochemical were dumped on the cities. Many citizens did not even know what was happening when the planes were buzzing overhead.

An 11 month old child nearly died from breathing difficulties. A six year old child developed asthma as a result of the aerial spraying. Over one hundred people signed affidavits stating that they got sick from the spraying. Hundreds of people had symptoms like; shortness of breath, headaches, dizziness, burning lungs, nausea, and muscle aches.

The excuse for aerial spraying is not a deadly disease carrying mosquito, but a moth whose larva may eat some leaves of some plants; called the Light Brown Apple Moth (LBAM). The CDFA considers the moth an invasive species since it is from Australia. Yet, evidence suggests that the moth has been in California for many years, living peacefully. In response to the moth, the CDFA set up relatively harmless sticky traps, which have captured nearly every Light Brown Apple Moth in the Northern California region.

Governor Schwarzenegger is a strong supporter of the declared emergency; the need to spray untested biochemicals on humans to stop the LBAM from destroying crops.

This aerial spraying violates several state, federal and international laws. It violates the right to personal safety given by the California State Constitution, the very document that creates the California government. It violates the Americans with Disabilities Act, which protects people with chemical sensitivities and other disabilities from discrimination. It violates the Federal constitutional right to personal liberty. It violates the EPA's laws against spraying pesticides on people. It violates human rights laws that say that human experimentation without consent is unethical and immoral. It violates criminal laws that claim it is a crime to poison children, or anyone else. It violates pollution laws to spray a toxic substance over plants, animals, and waterways. It violates laws against organized crime and it violates the very tenants of our democracy; a system of government designed to represent the people, not to poison the people to represent private agri-business interests.

Recently, in a series of rapid fire events, the CDFA declared a state of emergency relating to the LBAM claiming that the moths are about to destroy a huge portion of the state's agricultural crops. The claim is that the LBAM will cause hundreds of millions of dollars of crop damage. Due to this supposed ?emergency,? the CDFA claims it must immediately spray an untested biochemical to eliminate this threat as soon as possible despite the reported harms. Mind you, these moth's only travel within a 20-30 yard diameter of their birth place during their entire life.

The state of emergency is a false declaration because the CDFA cannot produce any meaningful evidence that the LBAM can or would destroy crops and the sticky traps are effective at containing the moths. In Hawaii, the LBAM has been a help to the ecosystem by destroying invasive species and there's no evidence of crop harm for the last 100 years.

The only emergency seems to be that the State of California, under Governor Schwarzenegger's helm, has an urgent need to spray as many humans; men, women, children, pregnant women, people with allergies, the elderly, and the sick, with chemicals. There is no sensible explanation as to why they want to do this, nor is there any explanation as to why they think that spraying pesticides on people is a good thing to do.

Spraying chemicals, safe or not safe, on humans against their will is illegal. It is a crime! The Nuremberg Code, established after the horrors of World War II, prohibits human experimentation without the consent of the person who is being experimented upon.

The state does not care about the over 200 health complaints, nor the laws they are violating, but rather cares about the commercial agricultural business. Trade partners with the US may not accept shipments of plants or produce that may have the LBAM. The CDFA has given various figures of the estimated crop damage that the LBAM will cause. Their estimates range from 100 million to 2.7 billion dollars. Now, these estimates are not based on any scientific survey but rather on their opinion and fears.

Even if the harmless moth could cause such damage, it is a dangerous precedent to place the health and safety of United States citizens, especially infants and children, secondary to money. So the CDFA and Governor Schwarzenegger has determined that 100 million dollars of possible damage gives them justification to poison children with chemicals. In this case, economic factors have been given priority over liberty and human value.

And the question I have been asking myself is - who is going to protect the children who will be sprayed?

So what chemicals make up Checkmate OLR-F and LBAM-F Products?

This has been the technical question many people have been asking. The specific details of the chemicals seem to be of less importance than the simple fact that these are chemicals. Synthetic chemicals do not have a place on our bodies without our permission. And they do not have a place in our children's bodies who have a much lower tolerance to environmental toxins!

My understanding is that approximately 15-20% of the main biochemical is made up of a synthetically derived moth pheromone. This pheromone supposedly confuses the moths and disrupts their mating cycles. I am unaware of any scientific evidence to prove that the pheromone is effective at controlling the LBAM population. I supposed the CDFA's plan is to see how it works after a year or more of spraying. This is essentially biochemical testing. And the problem is that they are doing it on the public on a large scale, against the people's will. Due to the declaration of an emergency, the CDFA allow themselves to bypass the normal environmental review process meant to examine such questions.

The concern with the Checkmate chemicals is not so much about the pheromone, but rather the pheromone distribution system. The pheromone is encapsulated in a micro-capsule (like a miniature pill) which the CDFA brags is biodegradable. What they do not tell you is that the capsule needs to dry out to biodegrade. In water environments (like your body), the pheromone stays encapsulated. The micro-capsule takes approximately 30 days to degrade. The full degradation occurring within 30 days is unlikely because Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties experience frequent rain and dampness from the Pacific Ocean. Thus, the people in the areas that are sprayed will be inhaling and touching miniature pills. Once in their bodies, the capsule will likely slowly degrade causing moth pheromone to be released directly into people's bloodstream.

The micro-capsule is made out of what are falsely called ?inert? ingredients. Again, the EPA brags that these ?inert? ingredients are mostly ionized water. However, they forget to tell you that there are also two known dangerous toxic substances in the inerts - tricaprylyl methyl ammonium chloride (TMAC) and polymethylene polyphenyl isocyanate (PPI).

The breathing problems and asthma-like conditions are known side effects of PPI. So how is the state legally able to spray it on people?

The way they illegally avoid the law and lie to people, so that people will be lulled into a stupor, is by saying that PPI, along with other ingredients, are actually not in the pesticide. Well, this is about 5% true and 95% a lie. Say you are baking a cake; you use flour, sugar, some eggs and other ingredients, and you bake it. One could argue that, in the final cake product, there is no flour but rather a new chemical compound called cake. In the same way, when PPI and other ingredients are processed, they meld and bind together and change their chemical form. They no longer resemble exactly their original substances, just like cake does not look much like the flour it was made of. When you examine the final biochemical, you will see no PPI but rather some new toxic substance.

Since there is no independently verifiable evidence that these new chemical compounds are toxic or not, other than 117 signed affidavits of people who got sick, and since there is a so-called ?emergency?, no thorough testing needs to be done. It is a devious way to avoid the law. The end result is that we must ?trust? the EPA to say the chemicals are safe. It's hard to trust the EPA because, for example, with water fluoridation the entire employee's union at the EPA came out to say that water fluoridation is dangerous and harmful while the official position of the EPA is that water fluoridation is a good thing. It also becomes more difficult to win a court case against the aerial spraying when you cannot get any evidence that the chemicals are dangerous because you are not allowed to independently verify anything that the EPA alleges.

Strangely, the CDFA came out with precautions for this ?non-toxic? chemical. Recommendations such as; to close all your windows during the spray, to stay inside, to hose everything off in the morning before you touch it, and to not touch anything that is covered with the chemical residue (anything outside) were encouraged. These warnings are good ideas since the micro-capsule can easily be inhaled, stays stuck on things, or remains in the air. I recently checked the CDFA website looking to quote this document and they had removed all warnings about the chemical, claiming now that it is totally safe. Perhaps this was spurred by the CDFA Secretary of Agriculture A.G. Kawamura's concern that citizens would waste too much water following the CDFA's instructions to wash the chemical off of things before touching them. It is eerie how A.G. Kawamura is concerned about saving water and our environment, but is totally oblivious to the fact that hundreds of people have been poisoned due to his aerial spraying efforts.

Another concern is the Checkmate OLR-F and LBAM-F warning label from the manufacturer:

?Keep Out of Reach of Children"

"Caution: Harmful if absorbed through the skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Harmful if inhaled. Avoid breathing vapor or spray mist.? The criminals at the CDFA claim we should not worry about this warning label. According to the CDFA's toxicity theory, since the biochemical is going to be inhaled and touched in smaller doses, this warning is no longer necessary as it refers only to those who handle the chemicals."

Due to this premise, the CDFA insists that the 117 documented complaints of illnesses are psychosomatic and are not caused by the Checkmate. They continue to spray without thoroughly investigating these health claims. Infants cannot get psychosomatic illnesses because they are too young to make things up like that. The CDFA are hypocrites because when a doctor reports that someone is sick to the CDFA, and if that person had recently ingested certified raw milk, they automatically shut down the milk business even without evidence that the milk caused the illness. (The milk, in this case, is never the source of illness because the cows are healthy.) On one hand, they overly penalize raw milk producers for things that might cause illness and on the other hand they ignore cases which definitely cause illness by their own hands.

Spraying chemicals on people is a crime, safe or not.

This is an outrage and this is sickening.

It used to be easy to turn a blind eye to government corruption because we could avoid it. You can avoid vaccinations by claiming an exemption. You can avoid polluted soaps and shampoos by buying natural ones, and you can avoid pesticide ridden foods by choosing organic. (In case you are wondering, strawberries and other produce sprayed with Checkmate will still be certified organic by the State, so you won't know you are eating pesticide ridden produce.) But the citizens of Monterey, Santa Cruz, Seaside, Los Lomas and other communities consisting of over 100,000 people who are scheduled to be spray bombed, some beginning today for up to six nights in a row, do not have the choice. Their personal boundaries have been violently violated by the CDFA.

Now, you cannot turn a blind eye anymore to what the government does. We need to acknowledge that these things are wrong, whether we can avoid them or not. When we do not stand up against evil, we affirm it. When we say what is happening is smart, we affirm that the evil doer is good because we do nothing to stop them.

I encourage you, in every way possible, to not sit back here. When you see someone doing wrong, whether it is a relative, a neighbor, or the local government, speak up. We need to stop this juggernaut. It is truly a terrifying experience because I have a pregnant partner and a young child and I have to move away from here to avoid being sprayed, to avoid being force vaccinated with synthetic moth hormone. The last bastion of hope is that the Santa Cruz City Council narrowly voted to sue the criminals doing this. It is unclear whether their lawsuit will be effective.

Checkmate.

The name for the biochemical Checkmate has two meanings. First, to check (stop) mating. Although there is no reliable evidence that it will check mating, for all we know, it could cause the moths to mutate and mate more. The second meaning of checkmate is a position in the game of Chess. This is a position when you have your opponent trapped no matter what move they do. They cannot win so they must resign and lose the game. Ironically, it is not the moths who are in the position of checkmate, but rather the citizens of Monterey, Marina, Pacific Grove, Sand City and Seaside (cities near Carmel and the famous Pebble Beach Golf course). These citizens must literally run, and escape, for the sake of their children from their own homes because a toxic cloud of government corruption is about to rain down upon them. It is these citizens who are in the position of checkmate. The difference here is that losing can mean a chronic disease, illness, and perhaps worse.

What you can do is call your state and federal representatives and encourage them to push through laws that prohibit aerial spraying. Encourage California State Senators and Federal Representatives to engage in a criminal investigation because poisoning people, children, and the elderly is a crime. Just because the people engaged in this work for the government, it doesn't make them immune to our laws. Support 1hope.org, and the City of Santa Cruz, to fight back.

A Grassy Knoll in Pakistan

All things have come full circle in the mountains of Pakistan. The "great game" has been played-out. The cycle of death which we unleashed upon the world there, bringing the war on terrorism home to us, now draws us inexorably into the vacuum of its violent ending. The convulsions now wracking that country threaten to become a revolutionary explosion capable of bringing down the foundations of the world.

The rapidly building democratic-revolution is now entering the "critical mass" stage. Its expansion is accelerating beyond human control. The assassination of Benazir Bhutto was a calculated risk, intended to derail democracy in Pakistan because Islamic extremists were making the democratic transition from militias into political parties. For this reason, it is unlikely that she was assassinated by real Islamists, true Taliban. It is more likely that the hit on Bhutto was connected to the Administration's getting the "green light" (the day before the attack), to move large numbers of Special Forces "trainers" into the tribal regions.

Even though Bhutto was allegedly stirring the cauldron, "...demanding after returning to Pakistan that the ISI be restructured; and in a press conference during her house arrest in Lahore in November she went as far as asking Pakistan army officers to revolt against the army chief," recent revelations by various neocon-men points to a covert US plan to eliminate her.

"A large number of ISI agents who are responsible for helping the Taliban and al-Qaeda should be thrown in jail or killed. What I think we should do in Pakistan is a parallel version of what Iran has run against us in Iraq: giving money [and] empowering actors. Some of this will involve working with some shady characters, but the alternative - sending US forces into Pakistan for a sustained bombing campaign - is worse," Steve Schippert was quoted as saying a November 2007 issue of Weekly Standard. (1. Steve Schippert| November 28, 2007 at 12:39 am "For what it's worth, the author attributed a comment to me that I did not make in the Weekly Standard article. While I ascribe fully to what the unnamed intelligence source who actually said it did in fact say, they are not my words.")

Musharref seems to be laboring under the illusion that the United States government supports his efforts to contain the building political explosion, when, in fact, the explosion of Pakistan is what the neocon traitors have been waiting for. With big "events" come big opportunities. Bush does not intend to do anything to help him stave off the inevitable. Their aim, all along, has been to plan for the day after the catastrophic event, for the day when their real plans could be fully implemented. The Pakistani leader let their ceaseless warnings about the day after move him into cooperating with them, in allowing the new expansion of the war into Pakistan. The actual neocon objective, according to Professor Michel Chossudovsky, is:

"...fomenting social, ethnic and factional divisions and political fragmentation, including the territorial breakup of Pakistan. This course of action is also dictated by US war plans in relation to both Afghanistan and Iran.

This US agenda for Pakistan is similar to that applied throughout the broader Middle East Central Asian region. US strategy, supported by covert intelligence operations, consists in triggering ethnic and religious strife, abetting and financing secessionist movements while also weakening the institutions of the central government.

The broader objective is to fracture the Nation State and redraw the borders of Iraq, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan."

By cooperating with Bush and Cheney, Musharref is supporting their efforts to revive the CIA training operation which had originally destabilized Pakistan. This had proven to be a winning strategy against powerful adversaries like the Soviet Union, but when the same strategy was tried elsewhere, where there were no large technological forces to attack, the trained militias targeted civilians. When it was transferred to the illegal "contra" war against Nicaragua it was quickly perverted, degenerating into organized death squads. "Targeted assassinations" and death squads, by trained, paid "militias" (mercenary armies) will overthrow regimes and terrorize the populations that dare to resist the American secret assault, will it will win no hearts and minds for the causes of democracy or freedom.

In the article, "Key Pentagon strategist plots global war on (Dec. 30) we learn that the man who planned the strategy and directed the actions of the former Afghan Mujajedeen has been given the same job in the new improved "Global War On Terror," patterned after it.

"In the Pentagon's newly expanded Special Operations office, Assistant Secretary of Defense Michael Vickers is working to implement the U.S. military's highest-priority plan: a global campaign against terrorism that reaches far beyond Iraq and Afghanistan.

The plan details the targeting of al-Qaida-affiliated networks around the world and explores how the United States should retaliate in case of another major terrorist attack. The most critical aspect of the plan, Vickers said in a recent interview, involves U.S. Special Operations forces working through foreign partners to uproot and fight terrorist groups.

Vickers, a former Green Beret and CIA operative, was the principal strategist for the biggest covert program in CIA history: the paramilitary operation that drove the Soviet army out of Afghanistan in the 1980s... he directed an insurgent force of 150,000 Afghan fighters and controlled an annual budget of more than $2 billion in current dollars.

Today Vickers' plan to build a global counterterrorist network [to fight covert wars in 49 countries]."

According to the Guardian Vickers will expand the Special Forces units now in Pakistan, to "...train the Frontier Corps and recruiting local militias to take on the insurgents." We will train a large roving Frontier Corps paramilitary force, as well as local Islamic militias.

"A new and classified American military proposal outlines an intensified effort to enlist tribal leaders in the frontier areas of Pakistan in the fight against Al Qaeda and the Taliban, as part of a broader effort to bolster Pakistani forces against an expanding militancy, American military officials said.

Militants have extended their reach beyond the tribal areas. If adopted, the proposal would join elements of a shift in strategy that would also be likely to expand the presence of American military trainers in Pakistan, directly finance a separate tribal paramilitary force that until now has proved largely ineffective and pay militias that agreed to fight Al Qaeda and foreign extremists, officials said.

The "war on terrorism," focused primarily on a fictional global insurgency named "al Qaida," that, in fact, fought for American interests in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Croatia and Chechnya is an exercise in hypocrisy. The more "evidence" that is provided to us, to prove the al Qaida connection to every act of terrorism, the more evident it becomes that the war is a fraud, based on a cover-up of a treasonous attack, intended to whitewash history and to paint America as a heroic nation, dedicated to bringing freedom and democracy to all people. The United States' claim to be promoting democracy, while it exports state terrorism, has demolished the hopes of all those who still believe in American "good will," all over the world.

Informed people all over the world cannot fathom how the American administration can seriously claim to be pursuing "al Qaida-connected terrorists," when they know that "al Qaida," the terrorist organization never existed. Thanks to revelations by British MP Robin Cook in the Guardian, and French intelligence agent Pierre-Henry Bunel at the Wayne Madsen Report, people know that when the United States needed a new enemy, after the demise of the Soviet empire, they decided to call "the base" (an international computer data base in Saudi Arabia of Afghan fighters), designated as "al Qaida" [an email address], an international terrorist network.

"Bin Laden was, though, a product of a monumental miscalculation by western security agencies. Throughout the 80s he was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. Al-Qaida, literally "the database", was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians." - Robin Cook

"The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al Qaida. And any informed intelligence officer knows this. But there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity representing the 'devil' only in order to drive the 'TV watcher' to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the US and the lobbyists for the US war on terrorism are only interested in making money." - Pierre-Henry Bunel

"Elements associated with al Qaida" has become the new official catch-all phrase, used as often as possible, to incite terror among the American people and to justify new attacks by American forces and American-supported militia groups. We are going into Pakistan in force, to train new Pakistanis to fight other Pakistanis that we had trained too well in the past. How will we separate the "friendly" al Qaida from the unfriendly ones, when we bundle the whole bunch together under the rubric "al Qaida?"

Why are Islamists like Ayman al Zawahiri considered al Q., after they provided the US Islamic fighters in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Macedonia, as well other Islamic recruits who served US interests in Chechnya? The Islamic mercenaries were fighting for us when the embassies were bombed in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998, even after bin Laden and Zawahiri announced the establishment of "The International Islamic Front for Holy War Against Jews and Crusaders," (an umbrella organization linking Islamic extremists in scores of countries around the world, the bin Laden group that was renamed Al Qaida). The militant group, now called al Qaeda was the instant answer to the 9/11 attacks, even though it was never what it was alleged to be, the ultimate terrorist bogeyman. The conjunction of US and al Qaida interests all over the Muslim world should warn thinking individuals, whenever attacks happen to occur in just the places that the neocon war planners would most like to invade.

It is more than reasonable to question where al Qaida ends and the secret world of their CIA trainers begins. Was it other trained al Qaida agents who pre-planted the demolitions that brought the towers down, obtained US security codes, timed the attacks into ongoing war games and stood down fighter cover, or was that part of the act of war the CIA's domain? Questioning further along that line, was Pakistan's ISI (secret service) still acting as the CIA's surrogate, when ISI head General Mahmud Ahmad allegedly had Sheik Omar wire Mohammed Atta $100,000? According to Chossudovsky:

"The FBI had information on the money trail. They knew exactly who was financing the terrorists. Less than two weeks later, the findings of the FBI were confirmed by Agence France Presse (AFP) and the Times of India, quoting an official Indian intelligence report (which had been dispatched to Washington). According to these two reports, the money used to finance the 9-11 attacks had allegedly been "wired to WTC hijacker Mohammed Atta from Pakistan, by Ahmad Umar Sheikh, at the instance of [ISI Chief] General Mahmoud [Ahmad]." 10 According to the AFP (quoting the intelligence source):

"The evidence we have supplied to the U.S. is of a much wider range and depth than just one piece of paper linking a rogue general to some misplaced act of terrorism."

The name "Sheikh Omar" should set off alarms to those who are paying attention. He was the one who Bhutto fingered on the David Frost interview on 2nd November 2007 (2:15), "Omar Sheikh, the man who murdered Osama bin Laden". Omar is mentioned in connection with a man that Bhutto feared might be involved in threats against her.

President Musharraf, in his book In the Line of Fire stated that the Sheikh was originally recruited by British intelligence agency, MI6 to go to the Balkans. Here is another shadowy figure linked to al Qaida, Western intelligence agencies and the US program, organized by Bill Clinton, to bring radical Islamist Jihadis to the war in Yugoslavia. They fought on the US side, in a war prosecuted by the United States, as an Islamic paramilitary force.

The new secret world war, based on the contra strategy, follows on the heels of what has been described as a "winning strategy" in Iraq, where the strategy was implemented and proven to be faulty. In Iraq, another former military/CIA contra trainer, James Steele has helped to implement the "El Salvador option," injecting the same training that he provided to Central American "death squads" during the illegal covert war against Nicaragua. But we know that the scenario, as it played-out in Iraq, produced the same results as in El Salvador, that of further polarizing the populace and turning the people against the US efforts. But, in Iraq, the policy was judged successful, by some, because of the unexpected bonus of inciting religious sectarian civil warfare. Between this new policy of promoting religious civil war and hiring armies of mercenaries, Bush & co. think that they are now winning in Iraq. For this reason, they plan to repeat the pattern in Pakistan.

We have seen elements of this new war strategy backfire in Gaza and Lebanon, where the political forces associated with Elliott Abrams sought to create viable insurgencies, like Mohammad Dahlan's U.S.-backed Preventive Security Services who were ran out of Gaza and the Lebanese Fatah al-Islam faction, allied with Said Hariri, who were driven from the Nahr el-Bared Palestinian refugee camp near Tripoli. These small forces were far too weak to successfully engage the Lebanese government, or the Hamas government in Gaza, yet the US was willing to gamble on them.

Joint efforts between the CIA and the Israeli Mossad to train offshoots of the PKK terrorist organization in Iraq, for cross-border attacks upon Iran, have also gone astray, leading to Turkish military action in Iraq, to eliminate the intolerable terrorist attacks upon it, that were a bi-product of misguided American efforts. Similar efforts to train Jundallah terrorists in Pakistan to attack Iran succeeded in killing a few Iranians, but managed to bring international opprobrium on the US for its support of terrorism.

The new program to inflict mass terrorism upon Pakistan's Western Provinces will backfire as well, further compounding America's military dilemma, while increasing the suffering and tribal hatred of the Pakistani and Afghan people exponentially.

If America would only stop being the world's number one sponsor of terrorism, then its leaders might realize that promoting real democracy is the only answer to the global unrest. In Pakistan, democratic forces will sweep Musharref and the Americans completely out of power there. Both he and Bush must decide to do whatever is necessary to make that "clean sweep" a relatively peaceful one. There is no room for a dictator in any democracy ? not in Pakistan, or America. If the attempt by the Pakistani government to cover-up the Bhutto assassination, by claiming that she was not shot is any indication of the path that Musharref has chosen for Pakistan, then there will be no chance for peace in that beleaguered country.

Urban wireless to serve intel and PSYOP forces

The government needs more nodes: Various agencies want to seed cities with wireless networking devices (image from a DOD document).

Despite the high costs and unproven social benefits for municipal broadband, dozens of U.S. cities are ignoring laws banning anti-competitive practices and getting into the internet business.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Defense is planning to build robots that configure themselves into ad hoc wireless networks within urban areas.

City mayors claim they want to provide free and low-cost Wi-Fi access to the poor and attract business travelers. Defense planners say they need to have broadband capabilities in urban war zones.

But rather than closing the “digital divide” (which many academics admit is being exaggerated), or providing a redundant service to traveling salesmen, it appears that officials aim to seize control of internet communications and track individuals in urban areas.

Military and law enforcement agencies will also use the wireless networks to stage “hard PSYOP” attacks against a brain-chipped populace, according to historian and commentator Alan Watt, who specializes in secret societies and government intelligence operations.

Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, and Providence, R.I. are among the cities partnering with private companies and the federal government to set up public broadband internet access. Providence used Homeland Security funds to construct a network for police, which may be made available to the public at a later date.

None of the cities are expected to turn a profit anytime soon. Nor are the poor likely to benefit from the projects.

Subscribers to Philly’s “Wireless Philadelphia” service, for example, will pay up to 73 percent more than the rate promised to them two years ago.

“(Philadelphia) presented dangerously inaccurate estimates and figures for the costs and revenue” for its wireless network, according to a recent analysis by students at Harvard Law School.


Seeding: The DOD envisions soldiers dropping robots into cities. The robots will self-configure into what are known as “mesh networks.”

City officials have managed to line their own pockets, however.

Philadelphia’s former chief information officer, Dianah Neff (below, right), now works for Civitium, the consulting firm she paid $300,000 to help build Philly’s Wi-Fi network.

Denise Brady, San Francisco’s former deputy CIO, also took a position with Civitium after bringing the firm her city’s business.

San Franciscans might actually lose more than money to their city’s muni Wi-Fi scheme.

Google and Earthlink, the companies building San Francisco’s Wi-Fi network, want to place cameras and sensors atop lampposts at the same time they are installing their Wi-Fi antennae. The companies say they merely want to help police and emergency workers.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation and the ACLU have opposed such police/public proposals.

But even if the cities fail to complete their Wi-Fi projects, the military will be able to set up wireless networks within hours, perhaps even faster.

The DOD, which is in the middle of joint urban war-games with Homeland Security and Canadian, Israeli and other international forces, is experimenting with Wi-Fi networks it can set up on the fly.

According to a recent DOD announcement for contractors, soldiers will be able to drop robots, called LANdroids (below, left), when they arrive in a city. The robots will then scurry off to position themselves, becoming nodes for a wireless communications network. (Click here to download a PDF of the DOD announcement.)

The Wi-Fi antennae dotting the urban landscape will serve not only as communications relays, but as transponders that can pinpoint the exact positions of of individual computers and mobile phones–a scenario I described in the Boston Globe last year.

In other words, where GPS loses site of a device (and its owner), Wi-Fi will pick up the trail.

The antennae will also relay orders to the brain-chipped masses, members of the British Ministry of Defense and the DOD believe.

“We already are evolving toward technology implanting,” reads a 1996 Air Force report.

People, already conditioned to receiving biological agents such as flu shots in their bodies, will welcome brain chips that promise to help them control technology, the Air Force report says.

Indeed, Alan Watt believes one of the purposes of muni Wi-Fi and LANdroids will be to disseminate commands and propaganda directly into the human brain.

Tracking and control of information via wireless networks are just the beginning, Watt said. “The implanted chip will be the end goal.”

NEW YORK (Jan. 2) - The amount of calcium and vitamin D in the diet appears to have little or no impact on the risk of prostate cancer, but the consumption of low-fat or nonfat milk may increase the risk of the malignancy, according to the results of two studies published in the American Journal of Epidemiology.

Dietary calcium and dairy products have been thought to increase the risk of prostate cancer by affecting vitamin D metabolism. Data from several prospective studies have supported an association, but many other studies have failed to establish a link.

It has long been thought that dairy products can interfere with the cancer-fighting properties of vitamin D, but the consumption of low-fat or nonfat milks appears to increase the risk that the tumors become malignant.


To explore this topic further, Dr. Song-Yi Park, from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, and colleagues, analyzed data from subjects enrolled in the Multiethnic Cohort Study. This study, conducted between 1993 and 2002, included adults between 45 and 75 years old, were primarily from five different ethnic or racial groups, and lived in California or Hawaii.

A total of 82,483 men from the study completed a quantitative food frequency questionnaire and various factors, such as weight, smoking status, and education levels were also noted, Park's group said.

During an average follow-up period of 8 years, 4,404 men developed prostate cancer. There was no evidence that calcium or vitamin D from any source increased the risk of prostate cancer. This held true across all racial and ethnic groups.

In an overall analysis of food groups, the consumption of dairy products and milk were not associated with prostate cancer risk, the authors found. Further analysis, however, suggested that low-fat or nonfat milk did increase the risk of localized tumors or non-aggressive tumors, while whole milk decreased this risk.

In a similar analysis, Dr. Yikyung Park, from the National Cancer Institute at National Institutes (NIH) of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and colleagues investigated the relationship of calcium and vitamin D and prostate cancer in 293,888 men enrolled in the NIH-American Association of Retired Persons Diet and Health Study, conducted between 1995 and 2001. The average follow-up period was 6 years.

No link between total or supplemental dietary calcium and the total number of non-advanced prostate cancer cases was noted. Total calcium intake was tied to advanced and fatal disease, but both associations fell short of statistical significance.

Similar to the first study's findings, skim milk was linked with advanced prostate cancer. Calcium from non-dairy food, by contrast, was tied to a reduced risk of non-advanced prostate cancer.

"Our findings do not provide strong support for the hypothesis that calcium and dairy foods increase the risk of prostate cancer. The results from other large...studies, with adequate numbers of advanced and fatal prostate cancers, may shed further light on this question," Park's team concludes.

LONDON (Reuters) - Investors shunned risky financial assets on Thursday amid fears of a U.S. recession, sending stocks lower for a second session in the new year, but safe-haven flows helped propel gold to a fresh high.

Wall Street looked set to open lower following a 0.2 percent fall in MSCI's main world stock index and a 0.7 percent drop in European shares. MSCI's Asia Pacific stocks excluding Japan slid 1.2 percent.

With caution on the rise, the yen gained ground as investors unwound risky trades usually funded by the low-yielding Japanese currency.

U.S. crude oil, meanwhile, hovered near its peak of $100 a barrel at $99.77, underpinned by a struggling dollar and expectations of another fall in U.S. fuel stocks.

Already hurt by concerns that a U.S. credit crunch would hit the world's biggest economy, investor confidence was further shaken after Wednesday's data showed U.S. factory production shrank in December for the first time in nearly a year.

"On the one side, you have economic data pointing lower, and on the other side record oil prices that raise concerns over inflation, a difficult situation for the Fed," said Jean-Marc Lucas, an economist at BNP Paribas in Paris.

"The data fuel the stagflation theme, but we think that recession risks are much greater than inflation risks."

Federal Reserve policymakers had said that big interest rates cuts may be required to help cushion the U.S. economy from the credit woes, minutes of the Fed's December 11 policy meeting showed.

RON PAUL: RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE

Today is the Iowa caucus. In five days the New Hampshire primary will take place. Candidates from the Republican and Democrat parties are attempting to get the vote, no matter how many lies and false promises they have to make. The exception is Congressman Ron Paul, whose voting record for 22 years and his absolute consistent stand on constitutional government cannot be disputed. No flip-flopping, no tarts in the back ground, no scandals and this man will never sell us out to any special interest group in this country or globally, i.e., the Bilderberg group of world totalitarian monsters.

Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo, Sam Brownack and Tommy Thompson, all pro war mongers and players for the machine have been treated with respect. The media, print and electronic, have called Dr. Paul undignified names, ridiculed and made fun of his supporters calling us kooks. Nothing even close has been heaped on the Democrat candidates.

However, according the all the network news political correspondents as well as print publications, whoever wins Iowa and New Hampshire, well, it's all over. Even Patrick Buchanan has thrown out this propaganda: "With the New Hampshire primary on Jan. 8, and the Iowa caucuses dead ahead, the nominees of both parties may be known in two weeks. Surely, after Feb. 5, when a slew of primaries are held, both races will be all but over." Additionally, the machine has decided that based on the outcome of the Iowa caucus, ABC and FAUX News will decide which candidates they will cut from their upcoming GOP debate. Before a single vote is cast today, ABC and FAUX have already decided to bar Congressman Ron Paul from that debate. In other words, close to 45 MILLION Republican voters will get only the candidates deemed worthy by about 125,000 votes from Iowa.

Who is behind all these Machiavellian tactics? I'll tell you: The machine that runs Washington, DC and your life. The machine that shoves their globalist candidates down your throat election after election after election. Then, playing right into their hands, Americans go to the polls in November, hold their nose and vote, election after election after election. Make no mistake about it: The Republican and Democrat national cesspool of power hungry jackals are well oiled, well greased machines that decide for you. They make the rules that lord over the sheep instead of we the people making the rules for those we choose to represent us.

All of the candidates running are ballot qualified. They have completed all the paperwork, they are raising money, they are all entitled to run for the office of the president of these united States of America for as long as they feel they can. However, the machine doesn't want you to have that choice. Let me give a little example here of how the shadow government works. Brother Huckabee is an obscure governor from the State of Arkansas who emerged on the scene about the time ultra- liberal Rudy Julie Annie and Flip Romney were taking the lead in the pack. As more information became available about Rudy Julie-Annie and his support of sodomy and abortion, the Christian Right began to say, no thanks.

Flip Romney's religion, Mormon, became an instant issue with Christians with all kinds of claims being made about his religion. A straight forward explanation of Mormonism can be read here. I asked a friend of mine who is Mormon if this is an accurate portrayal of his religion and he said yes. As the article points out, there are some profound differences between Christianity and Mormonism and this is where the Christian Right if not outright rejected Flip, they were/are wary. Contrary to some of the hate mail I've received from Mormons over one of my columns, this isn't a condemnation by me towards the Mormon religion, it's simply a documented fact.

Congressman Ron Paul represents a clear and extreme danger to the agenda of the globalists and shadow government who have gone into hyper drive to once and for all destroy this republic and turn America into a world region, so he was to be marginalized at all costs. In their arrogance, the henchmen pulling the strings for the machine decided no one would support Dr. Paul and so he was ignored until December 16, 2007, the day he raised more money than any political candidate in history in a 24-hour period. There is another Ron Paul money bomb planned on February 3, 2008, for the anniversary of the fraudulent ratification of the so-called income tax amendment. The IRS and DOJ and buffoons in Congress will tell you the Sixteenth Amendment was ratified, but they are lying through their teeth. Court certified historical documents prove otherwise, i.e.:

The Kentucky Senate voted upon the resolution, but rejected it by a vote of 9 in favor and 22 opposed.
The Oklahoma Senate amended the language of the 16th Amendment to have a precisely opposite meaning.
The California legislative assembly never recorded any vote upon any proposal to adopt the amendment proposed by Congress.
The State of Minnesota sent nothing to the Secretary of State in Washington.

Ron Paul has pledged as one of his first, major goals as president is to get rid of the terrorist operation called the IRS. There is no need for a direct tax and beware of these alternative taxing schemes proposed by constitutionally stupid, Brother Huckaee, because they will only continue to fund our destruction. Dr. Paul has promised to get us out of these destructive trade treaties, stop the hemorrhaging of American jobs and stop the NAU; see here.

Because of the unrest in the Republican base, the Christian Right, "Not particularly interested in running" candidate, Fred Thompson entered the race, bringing not only a sloth like attitude, his message is the same worn out one used by his fellow candidates. That plan has fizzled. In order to counter the drums of "we'll stay home on election day" from the Christian Right, our obscure governor, Brother Huck, suddenly begins to emerge as the holier-than-thou candidate for the right. He convinces tough guy, Chuck Norris, who really has done so many wonderful things, that he's the next coming of Christ. Oddly, this doesn't seem to swell Brother Huck's campaign coffers. And, then....


And, then, Brother Huckabee speaks to the treasonous Council on Foreign Relations - the hat trick that wins the brass ring. Here's a malleable, pro-war, pro-illegals boy who does the folksy God-talk to perfection and can deliver the Christian Right or a large percentage of that voting block. We have our boy! Suddenly, the media is fawning all over Brother Huck, while at the same time conducting the most transparent, despicable and well orchestrated black out of any presidential candidate in my lifetime. Somehow along the way, pro-war monger, pro-illegal aliens invasion, John McCain suddenly leaps up in the polls when scant weeks ago he was written off as the has been candidate. Can you believe it? Why, yesterday morning, the political huckstlers for FAUX News were practically peeing their pants: McCain has now taken the lead nationwide! Who are they polling? Mexico City, LA, Phoenix, El Paso and Guadalajara?

This is the machine at work and this machine is trying to do everything in their power to deny you the right to vote for the candidate you feel is best suited as our next president. The same applies to the Democrat candidates, Marxist Hillary Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Richardson, Biden - although there's not a dime's worth of difference between any of them. All big tax and spend liars who pretend to have your best interests at heart. All of them making promises they know they can't keep. Obama's well greased PR machine continues to grind out his "change you can believe in" hustle which is just more of the same failed policies. However, Democrats have the right to support the candidate of their choice, but the machine is going to take that away based based on Iowa and New Hampshire. This rancid process is aided and abetted by a corrupt media who no longer make any pretense of impartiality or fair and balanced.

Here's how this rip off works. About 125,000 voters for each party are expected to participate today in something called a caucus, roughly 250,000 votes is a good turn out for the numbers I could find. The 2006 general election for the entire state turned out 1,071,509 votes. So, we're to swallow that this small number of votes cast today are the barometer for a presidential candidate for the whole country?

In a few days the New Hampshire primary will take place. The live free or die state has about 700,000 registered voters; no telling how many will actually vote. In November 2008, about 100 MILLION Americans will go to the voting booth, yet the machine is telling us that if Ron Paul doesn't win Iowa and New Hampshire, it's all but over? While I respect my fellow Americans casting their vote in Iowa and New Hampshire, I resent that those voters - according to the machine - are to decide for the rest of us 100 MILLION voters. The whole process is a slick sham.

February 5, 2008, dubbed "Super Tuesday," is the next batch of primaries and by then the same machine masquerading as one party will decide who they're going to shove down your throat. The machines and the media will decide which of the "top tier" candidates will best serve the agenda for totalitarian government and jam it right down your throat. I say no more! No more rigged machines, no more candidates for the highest office in this country who serve their global masters and have no intention of upholding the Constitution of the United States.


Congressman Ron Paul has said he's in this for the long run. He continues to raise top dollars to run a viable campaign, but FAUX News Network or some strangers who run the Republican Party (the same goes for the Democrats) are going to tell we the people that Dr. Paul can't run any longer because X number of votes cast in a couple of states disqualifies him? The machine is going to once again manipulate the numbers and crank up their propaganda machine with "Ron Paul can't win" or the party has made it's choice and take that! Who the hell do these people think they are? I know who they are and so should you: They represent the down fall of this republic and more endless wars based on mountains of lies.

Here's a news flash for FAUX "News" Network, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, David Rockefeller, Angela Merkel, Chancellor Germany, Sean Hannity, the globalist water boys at the National Review, Limbaugh, the whole rotten bunch of Bilderbergers and what passes for the "mainstream media" in this country: Americans feel raw rage at what's going on with our elections and our country. We number in the millions, we know who you are, your agenda and every day, more Americans are finding out the truth.

We aren't going to take it one more time. This republic is in melt down. We are as close to annihilation as it gets with this push for a North American Union/SPP.

We refuse to allow your machine to dictate our lives and choices anymore - and that is going to extend to the congressional races, too.

No matter how dirty you play, we will fight back. The Timid Tommy's can step to the back of the room and assume their place in line as so eloquently expressed by Samuel Adams, revolutionary war hero: "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."



We will be in your face over vote fraud. No more stolen elections via rigged machines. We the people believe in fair and impartial elections even if our candidate doesn't win. Stealing the elections is shamelessly un-American and we will not put up with it any more. If you haven't read The Battle of Athens, you should. This brave, courageous group of Americans back in 1946 refused to put up with any more crooked elections.



Ron Paul supporters: Tell your state convention delegates to the Republican National Convention we demand Ron Paul be the next president of this country. The Republican Party needs you, but you don't need the Republican Party that is taking this country to straight to Hell, right along with he Democrats. Ron Paul can turn the direction as president. If for some tragic reason Ron Paul isn't the Republican nomination, I will NOT vote for the machine's choice because I know what Romney, Huckabee, McCain and all the rest stand for and it's bad for America. I will NOT vote for the continued destruction of my country even under the threat of stopping a true menace named Hillary Clinton. I am sick of being threatened by the forces of evil of who don't care which party "wins," because the machine controls both of them. If you doubt that, remember these words from sleezy, serial adulterer, Bill Clinton, who sold our most sensitive defense secrets to the commie Chinese, late August 1998, speaking over in Ireland in response to a question as to what would he do if removed from office through impeachment: ".....You know, by the time you become the leader of a country, someone else makes all the decisions."

Americans are taking a stand against the machine because we're not going to take it anymore.
