Environmental health risks come in many types and disguises. Some are in contact with these everyday. Knowledge of these environmental health risks will benefit you and your family. Estimates show that 135,000 kids under the age of five will become victims of accidental poisoning. About 90 percent of these risks originate in the home.

Natural and man made chemicals are everywhere in our environment. The synthetic plastic types promote the formation of harmful free radicals in our bodies. The long term effects of the thousands of these in the air, drinking supplies, in the food chain, and environmental pollutants are affecting the health of everyone.

Those that have been banned for decades are still showing up in the food chain and will continue for years to come. When they are proven to be cancer causing and banned, another new one takes its place. Years later, after more damage has occurred, it is banned.

Ingredients on the products you buy daily show only partial amounts of the actual ingredients used in processing. Some ingredients may use dozens of other additives and shown only as one on the sticker. We are not informed of theses poisons being used in agriculture as fumigant, herbicide, insecticides, and pesticides for fruits and vegetables.

Agriculture uses over 800 million pounds of pesticides and herbicides annually. All contaminate the soil for years, and drains into rivers, lakes and ground aquifers when it rains.

Fish and other marine life die from these chemicals and cause irreversible damage to the entire ecosystem. When the ecosystem is out of balance, it gets sick the same way humans do. All are harmful to the earth's stratospheric ozone layer.

World Health Organization considers pesticide poisoning of farm workers major problems in under-developed countries. It estimates that pesticides cause some 500,000 human poisoning each year, 5,000 of which are fatal.

Cancer is the second biggest killer among Americans. EPA estimates that there are 300,000 affected in the USA.

These are poisons, toxic and designed to kill or control insects, weeds, or other pests. Common pesticides can affect the nervous system, respiratory system, kidneys, liver and heart. They can cause eye damage, skin rashes, cancer, sterility, deformed children and death.

The outcome of any new types in the environment may not become fully apparent for another decade. Those banned are still showing up and will continue to show up for years to come. Those banned in the are still being used in other countries and shipped back to us. One might ask why is this allowed to continue.

They are dangerous to the immune system and threats to all life on earth. There are over 800 carcinogenic chemicals used. Synthetics used in the production of meats as antibiotics, hormones, tranquilizers, and pesticides amount to over 2,700 different kinds.

Another problem to soon arise through biotechnology will be crops that have been genetically altered. Genetically altered food can contain genes from bacteria, fish, insects, pigs and viruses.

Bioengineering changes the genes of the seeds so they can resist higher doses of herbicides and ripen more slowly. Genetically altered seeds can only grow once and will not have the self-regeneration abilities.

Nutritional values are continually decreasing with the depletion of minerals in the soil. Some feel that altering the genes of the plants will change the environment, alter, or reduce vitamin mineral content and the enzymes needed for proper digestion.

Industries producing these non-edibles defend their products as safe and will influence the younger generation on what they consider being beneficial. Some government officials have decided that we do not need to know if they are genetically changed. Labeling them has not been any requirement and calls for labeling are worrying the industry.

Some ranchers state decreasing birth rates by 1/4 percent in livestock by feeding them genetically altered grain.

Some scientists are warning us of the potential threats but it will not become serious for some time. We will see the long-term effect but by then, the cause will be forgotten and blamed on something else.

Things in nature all have reasons or causes. Our CREATOR made it this way for one purpose. When we disrupt the natural life cycle, there will always be an effect from his actions.

Thousands Environmental Food Health Risks
Antibiotics will reduce the friendly flora in the digestive tract when taken. Research shows some bacteria have built up resistance to antibiotics. When out of balance, the unfriendly organisms take over and thrive even more.

Most of the meats and poultry we consume are fed antibiotics to keep them well. Like us, their health seems to keep getting worse.

Canola oil, or otherwise known as Canadian, Rapeseed or Lear oil (low erucic acid rape) is used in fuel, soap, in synthetic rubber, as an illuminant for slick color pages in magazines, and lubricant or penetrating oil. However, its main use is in thousands of processed foods and salad dressings because of its low cost.

Erucic acid contained in Canola oil is toxic to humans and animals in large amounts. Our bodies may be able to metabolize it in smaller amounts but is it worth the danger of creating future problems?

Rapeseed is the member of the mustard family, one of the most toxic of all plants. During World War 1, they used it to make Mustard gas, and banned later because it blisters lungs and skin. Rapeseed oil was used in animal feeds between 1986-1991 in Europe and banned because of related illness in most animals.

Canola oil is high in glycosides, which inhibits the function of enzymes. Most people may not feel the effects for many years but when the digestive tract is clean, you can experience some reactions shortly after.

In past times when rapeseed was used it was unrefined and symptoms were not experienced. Some researchers feel the long chain of fatty acids in Canola oil (c22) causes high cholesterol levels and destroys the myelin sheath of nerves that causes the rare fatal degenerative condition called Adrenoleukodystrophy (ADL).

Chlorine does not kill all the microorganisms or oxidize other chemicals. They still continue using it, knowing that all reactions with organic material that carcinogenic compounds of chloroform, dibromochloromethane and trihalomethanes are produced. Its been known since the 1960s that chlorine is detrimental to ones wellness.

Some of the health effects of chlorine in water include allergic reactions, headaches, increased rates of bladder colon and rectal cancer, increased risk of heart disease, irritates eyes and mucous membranes, neurotoxic reactions, dry brittle hair, strips skin of natural oils leaving it dry and itchy, upsets the balance of intestinal flora which promotes Candida, and washes out hair color.

Chlorine dioxide approved by FDA is unstable, volatile and poses some of the same hazards as chlorine. Chemicals used in our day-to-day lives for drinking and food processing, end up in streams, lakes, and in our drinking supplies. In time, this contributes to the destruction of our ecosystem and the ozone layer.

Many of the thousands of compounds used have carcinogenic properties that end up in the food chain. The end result is passed along to us and consumed in the things we eat. The advantage of ozone over chlorine is that it kills much broader spectrum of microorganisms.

Food contamination spans the entire system. In preparation, it ends with sloppy food handling practiced by the handlers. Restaurants are the last pit stop for many people and they expect to eat safely. How many times have you gotten sick from your local restaurant?

Many potential sources can harbor microorganisms, and spots for them to hide and multiply. In warm and humid environments, harmful bacteria can multiply to dangerous levels very quickly. All types have certain numbers and type of bacterial contamination.

Hydrogenated oils not only contribute to heart problems but also to higher health risks of cancer, diabetes, decrease our immunity and they accelerate tissue decay.

During the hydrogenation process, oils are reacted under pressure with hydrogen gas at high temperatures in the presence of the metal catalyst, usually Raneys Nickel, which is actually 50 percent nickel and 50 percent aluminum. Using aluminum is particularly worrisome because of Alzheimer and osteoporosis.


The result of hydrogenation is the poisonous molecular distortion of the fatty acids that turn them into harmful TFAs. Research shows that the warped fatty acids raise bad cholesterol and lower good cholesterol levels. The long term dangers of using these bad oils far outweighs the savings.

Irradiation of foods and the effects from it are creating new chemicals in fresh perishables called radiolytic products. In irradiated beef, the main by-product is benzene. The Sixth Annual Report on Carcinogens, 1991, shows radiation and benzene to be carcinogenic.

Irradiation destroys most of the essential nutrients, and may alter the taste and appearance of some products. No studies have been done to show what the long term effect of food irradiation will be, which makes one wonder how this was approved without this data.

Ozone is safer to consumers and workers than irradiation and it's more effective in the control of pathogens. It does not effect food cells or alter its chemistry because it always reverts back to its original element oxygen.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is not just used on Chinese food but used by most food processors to enhance the products they produce. MSG can be concealed in foods as natural flavors or as spices. Companies like it because it suppresses off-flavors, bitterness, sourness, and the tinny taste of canned foods.

According to the Pacific Research Laboratories, medical research linked MSG to many adverse health effects and disease like Alzheimer, Lou Gehrig and Parkinson. Another substance found in MSG is glutamic acid. It effects the nervous system and causes depression.

Nitrogen Trichloride is known as Agene and used to bleach flour. May cause failure of muscle coordination and epileptic-like fits.

Pesticides contain more than 70 active ingredients that are cancer causing. The organophosphate and carbamate classes of insecticides are toxic to almost all types of life. Just because they are sold in almost all stores does not mean they are safe. Most of us will consume trace amounts of three to five pesticides daily.

Prescription Drugs, Risky, Hazardous Health Risks.
Pharmaceuticals are daily health risks which are toxic and foreign to our bodies that only trade immediate or temporary relief for more suffering. They interfere with our biochemical pathways and metabolism. Some can cover-up and temporarily alleviate the symptoms, but the cause is merely masked as further degeneration is taking place in our bodies. Some can bind minerals, destroy vitamin C and cause bowel problems.

Pharmaceuticals to lower blood pressure (calcium channel blockers) increase your risk to heart disease. Others can cause confusion, disorientation, inflame the pancreas, liver failure and memory loss. The bad effect of these is never ending as new ones are developed.

There are other dangers when you take prescriptions by mixing them with certain beverages, foods or vitamins. Repercussions can range from minor to lethal. Other choices include abstaining from drugs, do not eat, or find out more information. Your doctor or pharmacist should be able to warn you of any possible reaction and what to avoid. The right information can either save your life or take it for the lack of it. You cannot become the victim from the choices of others if you have the right information.

Recent newspaper article says conflicts of interest probe is expanding over the drug Rezulin because the one testing it for the NIH Diabetes Prevention Program study is listed on three separate patents of Rezulin potential use in diabetes which causes liver damage. Another article on new heart medication study was to last two years, but only lasted for six months.

There were nearly twice as many deaths among patients taking the prescription as among those taking the dummy. One pain killer by the name Celebrex was linked to ten deaths and eleven cases of gastrointestinal hemorrhages in its first three months on the market. After every death, the company's spokes people said there is no evidence that their products actually caused the deaths in question.

Late 1800, most doctors were taught many different techniques of healing and holistic medicine. The use of drugs began with the discovery of insulin and penicillin in the 1930. In 1933, the AMA, headed by Dr. Simmons, set out to destroy all medical treatments that were competitive to drug therapy. The suppression of ozone therapy began then and continues in the USA today.

How Is Ozone Therapy Applied?

Over the past sixty years, over a dozen methods have been developed, primarily in Europe, in the application of ozone in medical therapy. In most cases, tiny amounts of ozone are added to pure oxygen (usually consisting of 0.05 parts of ozone to 99.95 parts of oxygen for internal use and 5 parts of ozone to 95 parts of oxygen for external applications.) The exact amount used is determined on a case by case basis, as physicians have found that not enough ozone can be ineffective, while too much ozone can be immuno-suppressive, Cuban physicians use 5 primary methods to treat patients with ozone:

1. Major Autohemotherapy

Major autohemotherapy calls for the removal of between 50-100ml of the patient's blood. Ozone and oxygen are then bubbled into the blood for several minutes, and then the ozonated blood is re-introduced into a vein. These methods have been used to successfully to treat a wide variety of health problems, including herpes, arthritis, cancer, heart disease, and HIV-infection. It is probably the most commonly used type of ozone therapy today, both in Cuban and abroad.

2. Rectal Insufflation

A mixture of ozone and oxygen is introduced through the rectum and absorbed into the body through the intestine. Used for a wide variety of health problems, this method is considered one of the safest. Cuban physicians use this method primarily when treating children and elderly patients, whose veins may be too delicate for autohemotherapy.

3. Ozone Bagging

This non-invasive method uses a specially-,made plastic bag that is placed around the area to be treated. An ozone/oxygen mixture is pumped into the bag and is absorbed into the body through the skin. Ozone bagging is primarily used in Cuba to treat leg ulcers, gangrene, fungal infections, burns, and slow-healing wounds.

4. Injection

Used primarily to treat arterial circulatory disturbances, a small amount of ozone and oxygen are injected through intra-arterial application. It is also injected directly into joints, especially for treatment of arthritis and other joint disease.

5. Ozonated oil

Used primarily to treat skin problems, ozone gas is added to olive oil and applied as a balm or salve for long-term, low dose exposure. In Cuba, it is made with sunflower oil, and applied externally to treat a wide variety of problems including fungal infections (including athletes foot), fistulae, leg ulcers, bed sores, gingivitis, herpes simplex, hemorrhoids, vulvo-vaginitis, bee stings, insect bites, acne and other skin-related problems. The Cubans are also using capsules filled with ozonated oil to treat gastro duodenal ulcers, gastritis, Guardia, and peptic ulcers.

Since 1985, Cuban chemists and physicians have carried out the most extensive laboratory and clinical studies of medical ozone in the world, making Cuba the leader in researching the medical benefits of ozone therapy. Despite severely limited resources due to the U.S. sponsored trade embargo and the elimination of economic aid from the former Soviet Union, over the past nine years, Cuban scientists have accumulated an impressive amount of scientific and clinical data about medical ozone, and have reported their findings at both regional and international medical conferences. Patients from all over Latin America are traveling to Cuban hospitals for ozone therapy to treat a wide variety of disorders that are not being cured through traditional medical therapy. Americans are going as well, though it is in defiance of the trade embargo, which severely restricts the ability of U.S. citizens to have the opportunity to legally take advantage of the Cuban's expertise in ozone therapy, which is largely ignored by the mainstream media and is suppressed by the United States medical establishment.

Ozone In Medicine

Ozone is an elemental form of oxygen occurring naturally in the Earth's atmosphere. It is created in nature when ultraviolet energy causes oxygen atoms to temporarily recombine in groups of three. Like hydrogen peroxide, ozone is a well-known oxidizer, with strong virucidal, bactericidal, and fungicidal properties. Perhaps the best-known use of ozone is the purification of municipal water supplies: a small amount of ozone is added to oxygen and bubbled through the drinking water. Not only does it kill viruses and bacteria, but it removes the microorganisms that cause bad taste and odor in the water as well. Today, over a thousand cities around the world use ozone to purify their drinking supplies. In industry, ozone is used to oxidize phenolics (a poisonous compound of methanol and benzene), pesticides, detergents, chemical manufacturing wastes and aromatic (smelly) compounds. Ozone accomplishes these tasks more rapidly and effectively that chlorine , yet without its harmful residues.

The primary value of medical ozone is its bacterial, virucidal, and fungicidal properties. It is useful in wound disinfection and cleaning, and has the ability to enhance blood circulation. This improves the delivery and cleaning, and has the ability to enhance blood circulation. This improves the delivery of oxygen to hypoxic tissues, as well as reactivating the oxygen metabolism of cells. According to a paper published by the National Center for Scientific Research (CENIC), which coordinates ozone research in Cuba, the direct and indirect effects of ozone on oxygen metabolism involve the following processes:

4. Activation of the enzymes participating in peroxide or oxygen radical scavenging. The three most important of these enzymes are glutathione peroxidase, catalase, and superoxide dimutase.

5. Activation of the mitochondrial respiratory chain.

Research In Medical Ozone

Since the end of World War II, literally hundreds of laboratory and clinical studies in the medical uses of ozone have been done, primarily in Europe, and their findings have been published in a variety of scientific and medical journals. In countries like the United States, where large drug companies are directly or indirectly involved in all medical research and lobby to influence governmental policy, there is little interest in researching the possibilities of ozone therapy. Yet in countries like Cuba where the profit motive is absent from health care, physicians, chemists and other researchers traditionally enjoy both government support and funding for their work.

Medical ozone research has been carried out since 1985 in Cuba under the auspices of the Department of Ozone, a branch of the National Center for Scientific Research in Havana. The original work of the Department of Ozone was in exploring the use of ozone for sanitation, wastewater treatment, and the design, construction and installation of ozone generators.

Interest in the medical uses of ozone did not originate in the medical community, but owes its beginning to two chemists who happen to be husband and wife: Drs. Manuel Gomez and Moraleda and Silvia Menendez Cepero. In their research on ozone as a virucide, bactericide and fungicide in treating wastewater, they postulated that a small amount of ozone mixed with oxygen might have beneficial effects on the human body. Taking into account that Cuba was facing extreme shortages of medicine, they believed that ozone therapy may have value as a low-cost adjunct to traditional medical therapy.

Gomez and Menendez presented their ideas to members of the Cuban medical establishment, many of whom graduated from leading universities in the United States and Europe before the Cuban revolution. Their ideas were not well received at first. After some persuasion, they were finally able to convince several physicians to permit them to use ozone on a all number of difficult cases under medical supervision, and had positive results.

Fidel Castro soon learned of their successes and directed that funds be channeled into CENIC to support research in the applications of medical ozone. Within several years, Gomez and Menendez enlisted the collaboration of a network of physicians in various specialties who were open to experiment with ozone. Some of their most enthusiastic supporters today are physicians who are actively using ozone in clinics and hospitals as part of the National Program for Ozone Therapy. Between 1985 and 1994, over 25,000 patients were treated with ozone in medical institutions throughout the country, and many of the foreigners who visit Cuba for advanced medical therapy are treated with ozone.

During 1994, the Department of Ozone and the staff of 60 chemists and laboratory technicians left CENIC headquarters in Havana and moved to a spacious new campus in a park-like setting in the suburbs. Known as The Center for Ozone Research, this modern facility includes two laboratories, two ozone clinics (one for Cubans and one for foreigners), an administration building, and a 180-bed hotel for foreign patients and their families.

The Cuban Health Care System

It is important to view ozone therapy in the overall context of the Cuban health care system. One of the primary goals of the Cuban revolution of 1959 was to provide free and universal health care to all Cuban citizens. Although subjected to a crippling economic blockade by the United States government since 1961, Cuba has nonetheless been able to position itself in the vanguard of medical research characteristic of many developed nations, including genetic engineering (the Center for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering is the first in Latin America), organ transplant technology, the development of an artificial heart, vaccines for hepatitis B and meningococcal meningitis B, neural brain implants to treat Parkinson's disease, and epidermal growth factor to aid burn victims.

In contract to his devastating eyewitness account of the disintegration of Castro's Cuba in his book, Castro's Final Hour, Andres Oppenheimer had this to say about the Cuban healthcare system. "In fact, the revolution's greatest success had been in providing a first-class health care system for free. Whatever health needs Cubans had, whether a pregnancy test or a heart-bypass operation, the could have it for the asking. Recession in the US 'has arrived'

The feared recession in the US economy has already arrived, according to a report from Merrill Lynch.

It said that Friday's employment report, which sent shares tumbling worldwide, confirmed that the US is in the first month of a recession.

Its view is controversial, with banks such as Lehman Brothers disagreeing.

But a reserve member of the committee that sets US rates warned that it could do little about the below-trend growth expected in the next six months.

"I am concerned that developments on the inflation front will make the Fed's policy decisions more difficult in 2008," Charles Plosser, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia said.

He was referring to the problems faced by the US Federal Reserve, which might want to cut interest rates to avoid a recession, but is worried about inflationary factors such as $100-a-barrel oil.

'Significant decline'

An official ruling on whether the US is in recession is made by the National Bureau of Economic Research, but this decision may not come for two years.

The NBER defines a recession as "a significant decline in economic activity spread across the economy, lasting more than a few months".

It bases its assessment on final figures on employment, personal income, industrial production and sales activity in the manufacturing and retail sectors.

Merrill Lynch said that the figures showing the jobless rate hitting 5% in December were the final piece in that puzzle.

"According to our analysis, this isn't even a forecast any more but is a present day reality," the report said.

'Actual downturn'

But NBER president Martin Feldstein denied Merrill's claims.

"I think we're not in a recession now," he told CNBC.

"But I think there is a serious risk that it could get worse and we could see an actual downturn," he added.

Merrill said that the current consensus view on Wall Street that there is a good chance of avoiding a recession is "in denial".

It also objected to the use of euphemistic terms for the state of the economy.

"To say that the backdrop is 'recession like' is akin to an obstetrician telling a woman that she is 'sort of pregnant'," the report said.

Housing figures

There were further signs of the housing slowdown that has sparked off the problems in the US economy in home sale figures.

Pending sales of existing homes fell 2.6%, according to the National Association of Realtors, which saw its pending sales index drop to 87.6 in November, 19.2% below the point it was at a year ago.

The figures were better than expected, however, because October's index reading was revised upwards from 87.2 to 89.9.

Meanwhile, US phone giant AT&T said it was now disconnecting a growing number of home phone and broadband customers for failing to pay their bills.

Here in Southern California , the biggest newspaper, the Los Angeles Times, quarantines Ron Paul like he carries the plague. No subtlety about it, and no apologies or denials either. As part of the vast Tribune Company, the LA Times must toe the party line and mimic the slanted, Soviet style news orgs, Tass and Pravda. In their heydey of the Russian Communist, Tass and Pravda only carried what that totalitarian regime wanted them to carry.

What is the Tribune Company, you ask? Just the second largest news media corporation in America , capable of shape shifting minds and influencing national elections.

Take a look at these happy faces. What do you see? Anyone missing? Where is that fellow, that Constitutionalist, who wants to disband the Federal Reserve? Where is Ron Paul, that fellow who actually beat Time Magazines "Man of The Year" by more than a two to one margin among Iowa voters? Like the old Soviet-era newspapers, the US mainstream media (MSM) controls ALL the news, without apology or denial.

Now take a look at the faces of those who prefer to play ball, who profess change while offering no new or original or bold thinking. Look at those who want to continue to bomb (spend), invade (spend), sanction (spend) or otherwise occupy foreign countries (spend & spend some more). These happy shape-shifters have the official Tribune sanction and it doesn't really matter who wins among them, whether Democrat or Republican.

Here in America , to paraphrase GWB, the "propaganda must be repeated over and over and over again," whether in news reports or happy pictures, conveying resolute, confident leaders.

Take a look at Obama. Doesn't that photo convey certain Messianic powers? Obama Messiah, I call it. Or how about Mitt Romney casting his shadow on the American flag? Certainly he'll do what's best for America, right? Or how about John McCain? The photo says to the viewer: I am strong, forceful yet fully committed to the War On Terror. No matter how many centuries it takes, and trillions it costs your kids.

As you'll notice, ALL the pre-approved candidates are shot in flattering poses, usually from below. Usually surrounded by adoring masses. Each candidate, exuding folksy charm in the photos, assures us that they are just like us.

And if a man or woman or IDEA can be effaced, by catapulting the propaganda forward over and over again, that idea can be effectively controlled, if not erased altogether. Like the effective effacement of Ron Paul from the LA Times website. Nope, not a single photograph did I see from New Hampshire, nor mention of him. Guess Ron Paul doesn't exist.

So you see that big corporations already have their winners. With corporate-controlled black boxes in place and the MSM controlling the messages and the messengers, controlling the status quo, however precarious, can be maintained. Nothing to see here (but smiling faces); Move along.

A famous man once said: "Through clever and constant application of propaganda, people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way round, to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise." That quote, by master propagandist and warmonger, says it all. Adolf Hitler always tried to spin paradise out of hell, as his country was collapsing around him, pretty much the way our own corporate propagandists and their happy, hand-selected warmongers do today.

Twilight of the Psychopaths

When Gandhi was asked his opinion of Western civilization he said it would be a good idea. But that oft-cited quote, is misleading, assuming as it does that civilization is an unmitigated blessing.

Civilized people, we are told, live peacefully and cooperatively with their fellows, sharing the necessary labour in order to obtain the leisure to develop arts and sciences. And while that would be a good idea, it is not a good description of what has been going on in the so-called advanced cultures during the past 8,000 years.

Civilization, as we know it, is largely the creation of psychopaths. All civilizations, our own included, have been based on slavery and “warfare.” Incidentally, the latter term is a euphemism for mass murder.

The prevailing recipe for civilization is simple:

1) Use lies and brainwashing to create an army of controlled, systematic mass murderers;

2) Use that army to enslave large numbers of people (i.e. seize control of their labour power and its fruits);

3) Use that slave labour power to improve the brainwashing process (by using the economic surplus to employ scribes, priests, and PR men). Then go back to step one and repeat the process.

Psychopaths have played a disproportionate role in the development of civilization, because they are hard-wired to lie, kill, injure, and generally inflict great suffering on other humans without feeling any remorse. The inventor of civilization — the first tribal chieftain who successfully brainwashed an army of controlled mass murderers—was almost certainly a genetic psychopath. Since that momentous discovery, psychopaths have enjoyed a significant advantage over non-psychopaths in the struggle for power in civilizational hierarchies — especially military hierarchies.



Military institutions are tailor-made for psychopathic killers. The 5% or so of human males who feel no remorse about killing their fellow human beings make the best soldiers. And the 95% who are extremely reluctant to kill make terrible soldiers — unless they are brainwashed with highly sophisticated modern techniques that turn them (temporarily it is hoped) into functional psychopaths.

In On Killing, Lt. Col. Dave Grossman has re-written military history, to highlight what other histories hide: The fact that military science is less about strategy and technology, than about overcoming the instinctive human reluctance to kill members of our own species. The true “Revolution in Military Affairs” was not Donald Rumsfeld’s move to high-tech in 2001, but Brigadier Gen. S.L.A. Marshall’s discovery in the 1940s that only 15-20% of World War II soldiers along the line of fire would use their weapons: “Those (80-85%) who did not fire did not run or hide (in many cases they were willing to risk great danger to rescue comrades, get ammunition, or run messages), but they simply would not fire their weapons at the enemy, even when faced with repeated waves of banzai charges” (Grossman, p. 4).

Marshall’s discovery and subsequent research, proved that in all previous wars, a tiny minority of soldiers — the 5% who are natural-born psychopaths, and perhaps a few temporarily-insane imitators—did almost all the killing. Normal men just went through the motions and, if at all possible, refused to take the life of an enemy soldier, even if that meant giving up their own. The implication: Wars are ritualized mass murders by psychopaths of non-psychopaths. (This cannot be good for humanity’s genetic endowment!)

Marshall’s work, brought a Copernican revolution to military science. In the past, everyone believed that the soldier willing to kill for his country was the (heroic) norm, while one who refused to fight was a (cowardly) aberration. The truth, as it turned out, was that the normative soldier hailed from the psychopathic five percent. The sane majority, would rather die than fight.



The implication, too frightening for even the likes of Marshall and Grossman to fully digest, was that the norms for soldiers’ behaviour in battle had been set by psychopaths. That meant that psychopaths were in control of the military as an institution. Worse, it meant that psychopaths were in control of society’s perception of military affairs. Evidently, psychopaths exercised an enormous amount of power in seemingly sane, normal society.

How could that be? In Political Ponerology, Andrzej Lobaczewski explains that clinical psychopaths enjoy advantages even in non-violent competitions to climb the ranks of social hierarchies. Because they can lie without remorse (and without the telltale physiological stress that is measured by lie detector tests) psychopaths can always say whatever is necessary to get what they want. In court, for example, psychopaths can tell extreme bald-faced lies in a plausible manner, while their sane opponents are handicapped by an emotional predisposition to remain within hailing distance of the truth. Too often, the judge or jury imagines that the truth must be somewhere in the middle, and then issues decisions that benefit the psychopath. As with judges and juries, so too with those charged with decisions concerning who to promote and who not to promote in corporate, military and governmental hierarchies. The result is that all hierarchies inevitably become top-heavy with psychopaths.

So-called conspiracy theorists, some of whom deserve the pejorative connotation of that much-abused term, often imagine that secret societies of Jews, Jesuits, bankers, communists, Bilderbergers, Muslim extremists, papists, and so on, are secretly controlling history, doing dastardly deeds, and/or threatening to take over the world. As a leading “conspiracy theorist” according to Wikipedia, I feel eminently qualified to offer an alternative conspiracy theory which, like the alternative conspiracy theory of 9/11, is both simpler and more accurate than the prevailing wisdom: The only conspiracy that matters is the conspiracy of the psychopaths against the rest of us.



Behind the apparent insanity of contemporary history, is the actual insanity of psychopaths fighting to preserve their disproportionate power. And as that power grows ever-more-threatened, the psychopaths grow ever-more-desperate. We are witnessing the apotheosis of the overworld—the criminal syndicate or overlapping set of syndicates that lurks above ordinary society and law just as the underworld lurks below it. In 9/11 and the 9/11 wars, we are seeing the final desperate power-grab or “endgame” (Alex Jones) of brutal, cunning gangs of CIA drug-runners and President-killers; money-laundering international bankers and their hit-men, economic and otherwise; corrupt military contractors and gung-ho generals; corporate predators and their political enablers; brainwashers and mind-rapists euphemistically known as psy-ops experts and PR specialists—in short, the whole sick crew of certifiable psychopaths running our so-called civilization. And they are running scared. It was their terror of losing control that they projected onto the rest of us by blowing up the Twin Towers and inciting temporary psychopathic terror-rage in the American public.

Why does the pathocracy fear it is losing control? Because it is threatened by the spread of knowledge. The greatest fear of any psychopath is of being found out. As George H. W. Bush said to journalist Sarah McClendon, December 1992, “If the people knew what we had done, they would chase us down the street and lynch us.” Given that Bush is reported to have participated in parties where child prostitutes were sodomized and otherwise abused, among his many other crimes, his statement to McClendon should be taken seriously.

Psychopaths go through life knowing that they are completely different from other people. They quickly learn to hide their lack of empathy, while carefully studying others’ emotions so as to mimic normalcy while cold-bloodedly manipulating the normals.

Today, thanks to new information technologies, we are on the brink of unmasking the psychopaths and building a civilization of, by and for the normal human being — a civilization without war, a civilization based on truth, a civilization in which the saintly few rather than the diabolical few would gravitate to positions of power. We already have the knowledge necessary to diagnose psychopathic personalities and keep them out of power. We have the knowledge necessary to dismantle the institutions in which psychopaths especially flourish — militaries, intelligence agencies, large corporations, and secret societies. We simply need to disseminate this knowledge, and the will to use it, as widely as possible.

Above all, we need to inform the public about how psychopaths co-opt and corrupt normal human beings. One way they do this, is by manipulating shame and denial — emotions foreign to psychopaths but common and easily-induced among normals.

Consider how gangs and secret societies (psychopaths’ guilds in disguise) recruit new members. Some criminal gangs and satanist covens demand that candidates for admission commit a murder to “earn their stripes.” Skull and Bones, the Yale-based secret society that supplies the CIA with drug-runners, mind-rapists, child abusers and professional killers, requires neophytes to lie naked in a coffin and masturbate in front of older members while reciting the candidate’s entire sexual history. By forcing the neophyte to engage in ritualized behaviour that would be horrendously shameful in normal society, the psychopaths’ guild destroys the candidate’s normal personality, assuming he had one in the first place, and turns the individual into a co-opted, corrupt, degraded shadow of his former self — a manufactured psychopath or psychopath’s apprentice.

This manipulation of shame has the added benefit of making psychopathic organizations effectively invisible to normal society. Despite easily available media reports, American voters in 2004 simply refused to see that the two major-party presidential candidates had lain naked in a coffin masturbating in front of older Bonesmen in order to gain admission to Skull and Bones and thus become members of the criminal overworld. Likewise, many Americans have long refused to see that hawkish elements of the overworld, operating through the CIA, had obviously been the murderers of JFK, MLK, RFK, JFK Jr., Malcolm X, ChÈ, AllendÈ, Wellstone, Lumumba, Aguilera, Diem, and countless other relatively non-psychopathic leaders. They refuse to see the continuing murders of millions of people around the world in what amounts to an American holocaust. They refuse to see the evidence that the psychopaths’ guilds running America’s most powerful institutions use the most horrific forms of sexualized abuse imaginable to induce multiple-personality-disorder in child victims, then use the resulting mind-control slaves as disposable drug-runners, prostitutes, Manchurian candidates, and even diplomatic envoys. And of course they refuse to see that 9/11 was a transparently obvious inside job, and that their own psychopath-dominated military-intelligence apparatus is behind almost every major terrorist outrage of recent decades.

All of this psychopathic behaviour at the top of the social hierarchy is simply too shameful for ordinary people to see, so they avert their gaze, just as wives of husbands who are sexually abusing their children sometimes refuse to see what is happening in plain view. If deep, deep denial were a river in Egypt, American citizens’ wilful blindness would be more like the Marianas Trench.

But thanks to the power of the internet, people everywhere are waking up. The only obvious non-psychopath among Republican presidential candidates, Ron Paul, also happens to be the only candidate in either party with significant grassroots support.

If “love” is embedded in the Revolution Ron Paul heralds, that is because Dr. Paul — a kindly, soft-spoken physician who has delivered more than 4,000 babies — implicitly recognizes that government is the invention and tool of psychopaths, and therefore must be strictly limited in scope and subjected to a rigorous system of checks and balances, lest the psychopath’s tools, fear and hatred, replace love as the glue that binds society together.

The decline in militarism since World War II in advanced countries, the spread of literacy and communications technology, and the people’s growing demands for a better life, together represent a gathering force that terrifies the pathocracy, (those alternately competing-then-cooperating gangs of psychopaths who have ruled through lies, fear and intimidation since the dawn of so-called civilization).

Since nuclear weapons have made war obsolete, the pathocracy is terrified that its favourite social control mechanism — ritualized mass slaughter — is increasingly unavailable. And if war was the great human tragedy, the pathocrats’ pathetic attempt at a war-substitute — the transparently phoney “war on terror” — is repeating it as sheerest farce.

Truly, we are witnessing the twilight of the psychopaths. Whether in their death throes they succeed in pulling down the curtain of eternal night on all of us, or whether we resist them and survive to see the dawn of a civilization worthy of the name, is the great decision in which all of us others, however humbly, are now participating.

ISRAELI security officials are to brief President George W Bush on their latest intelligence about Iran’s nuclear programme - and how it could be destroyed - when he begins a tour of the Middle East in Jerusalem this week.

Ehud Barak, the defence minister, is said to want to convince him that an Israeli military strike against uranium enrichment facilities in Iran would be feasible if diplomatic efforts failed to halt nuclear operations. A range of military options has been prepared.

Last month it was revealed that the US National Intelligence Estimate report, drawing together information from 16 agencies, had concluded that Iran stopped a secret nuclear weapon programme in 2003.

Israeli intelligence is understood to agree that the project was halted around the time of America’s invasion of Iraq, but has “rock solid” information that it has since started up again.

While security officials are reluctant to reveal all their intelligence, fearing that leaks could jeopardise the element of surprise in any future attack, they are expected to present the president with fresh details of Iran’s enrichment of uranium - which could be used for civil or military purposes - and the development of missiles that could carry nuclear warheads.

In an interview with the Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot this weekend, Bush argued that in spite of the US intelligence assessment, Iran still posed a threat.

“I read the intelligence report carefully,” Bush said. “In essence, what the report said was that Iran had a secret plan to develop nuclear weapons.

“I’m saying that a state which adopted a nontransparent policy and had a secret plan for developing nuclear weapons could easily develop an alternative plan for the same purpose. So to conclude from the intelligence report that there is no Iranian plan to develop nuclear weapons will be only a partial truth.”

Israeli security officials believe the only way to prevent uranium enrichment to military grade is to destroy Iranian installations. Many Israelis are eager to know whether America would give their country the green light to attack, as it did last September when Israel struck a mysterious nuclear site in Syria.

Bush refused to be drawn when asked whether he would support an Israeli attack. “My message to all countries in the region is that we are able to solve the problem in a diplomatic way,” he said, “but all options are on the table.”

Totalization is a Bad Idea

Through a Freedom of Information Act Request, a private group recently obtained a copy of a 2004 agreement between the United States and Mexico that will allow hundreds of thousands of noncitizens to receive Social Security benefits.

The agreement creates a so-called “totalization” plan between the two nations. Totalization is nothing new. The first such agreements were made in the late 1970s between the United States and several foreign governments simply to make sure American citizens living abroad did not suffer from double taxation with respect to Social Security taxes. From there, however, totalization agreements have become vehicles for noncitizens to become eligible for U.S. Social Security benefits. The new agreement with Mexico would make an estimated 160,000 Mexican citizens eligible in the next five years.

Ultimately, the bill for Mexicans working legally in the U.S. could reach one billion dollars by 2050, when the estimated Mexican beneficiaries could reach 300,000. Worse still, an estimated five million Mexicans working illegally in the United States could be eligible for the program. According to press reports, a provision in the Social Security Act allows illegal immigrants to receive Social Security benefits if the United States and another country have a totalization agreement.

It’s important to note that Congress, like the American people, heretofore had not seen this totalization agreement. This decision to expand our single largest entitlement program was made with no input from the legislative branch of government. If the president signs it, Congress will have to affirmatively act to override him and in essence veto the agreement. This is the opposite of how it’s supposed to work.

There are obvious reasons to oppose a Social Security totalization agreement with Mexico. First, our Social Security system already faces trillions of dollars in future shortages as the Baby Boomer generation retires and fewer young workers pay into the system. Adding hundreds of thousand of noncitizens to the Social Security rolls can only hasten the day of reckoning.

Second, Social Security never was intended to serve as an individual foreign aid program for noncitizens abroad. Remember, there is no real Social Security trust fund, and the distinction between income taxes and payroll taxes is entirely artificial. The Social Security contributions made by noncitizens are spent immediately as general revenues. So while it’s unfortunate that some are forced to pay into a system from which they might never receive a penny, the same can be said of younger American citizens. If noncitizens wish to obtain Social Security benefits, or any other U.S. government entitlements, they should seek to become U.S. citizens.

Also, totalization agreements allow noncitizens to quality for Social Security benefits by working in the U.S. as little as 18 months. A Mexican citizen could work here for only a year and a half, return to Mexico, and retire with full U.S. benefits. This is grossly unfair to Americans who must work more quarters even to qualify for benefits-- especially younger people who face the possibility that there may be nothing left when it is their turn to retire.

Those in favor of sending U.S. Social Security benefits to Mexican citizens argue that crushing poverty in Mexico demands some form of U.S. assistance to that country's aged. While poverty in Mexico truly is deplorable and saddening, the fact remains that Congress has no constitutional authority to enact what is essentially another foreign aid program.

HILLARY CLINTON'S MESSIAH COMPLEX

It’s no secret that Hillary Clinton views herself as a member of the God Squad, divinely anointed to shepherd the masses to greater gender consciousness.

“Hillary acts as though she has been chosen by God,” recounts Edward Klein, author of The Truth about Hillary. “I find her to be among the most self-righteous people I’ve ever known,” explains former New York Times reporter Bob Boorstin. And during her senate campaign Hillary glowed approvingly whenever Black preachers declared her “a woman of God.”

But how many persons know how Mrs. Clinton’s messianic streak may lead to her political undoing?

During her childhood Hugh Rodham treated Hillary as Daddy’s favorite, sparing her from many of the chastisements and chores he imposed on her hapless brothers. As brother Tony remarked enviously, “Little Hillary could do no wrong.”

Hillary’s teenage involvement with the local Methodist church only reinforced her emerging priggishness. By the age of 17, Hillary’s “messianism and sense of entitlement” were already evident, reveals Carl Bernstein in A Woman in Charge.

During her college years, Hillary Rodham’s self-righteous streak fueled her many political pursuits. Those culminated in her 1975 marriage to Bill Clinton, a man she fully expected to one day become president.

But after Bill lost his 1980 re-election bid for the Arkansas governorship, a distraught Hillary began to speak at church meetings around the state. One day she traveled to a church in North Little Rock to deliver a homily on “Women Armed with the Christian Sword – To Build an Army for the Lord.”

Hillary’s unconventional blend of Christian faith and feminist ideology was taking shape.

Five days after his 1992 inauguration, Bill named Hillary to head up his Task Force on Health Care Reform. But her political miscalculations soon turned into an electoral fiasco. On November 8, 1994 the Democrats lost control of both houses of Congress, and Hillary was banished from the West Wing of the White House.

Smarting from her self-inflicted wounds, Hillary invited a group of New Age savants to Camp David. As recounted by Bob Woodward in The Choice, one of her guests was Jean Houston, a psychic who had conducted LSD experiments and claimed to communicate regularly with Athena, Greek goddess of wisdom.

What transpired that weekend – equal parts group psychotherapy and feminist consciousness-raising – may rank as the most bizarre episode ever involving a First Lady.

Hillary’s healthcare debacle was emblematic of the female crucifixion, Ms. Houston believed. Speaking as if a witness to the Second Coming, Houston told Clinton she was carrying the burden of 5,000 years of female subservience. Driving her point home, Houston compared Hillary to Joan of Arc, the French woman who was burned at the stake in 1431 for heresy.

The best was yet to come.

In April 1995 Houston came to the White House, this time to conduct a séance. Seated around a circular table in the White House solarium, Houston instructed Hillary to close her eyes and engage in a conversation with Eleanor Roosevelt.

Hillary readily complied and was soon comparing Eleanor’s epic struggles with her own. Houston intoned that the First Lady’s woes were caused by self-important men who refused to accept women as equals -- ignoring how HRC’s clumsy attempt to overhaul the healthcare system had exposed her political naiveté.

Now sounding like Daddy’s little girl, Hillary asked why people kept saying things that hurt her feelings. The pity party was just getting started.

Over the next year Jean Houston continued as Hillary’s spiritual and political mentor, constantly urging her to continue the fevered crusade on behalf of women’s rights.

But some would ask, What’s wrong with a candidate who casts her candidacy in the aura of historical inevitability and views every issue through the moralistic lens of right and wrong?

For starters, Hillary comes across as arrogant.

Friend Sara Ehrman once warned about Hillary that “God is on my side can be arrogance.” Former Moynihan aide Lawrence O’Donnell believed Clinton’s haughtiness was her most prominent difficulty.



And remember Hillary’s recent encounter with CBS News anchor Katie Couric? Asked how she would feel if she didn’t become the Democratic nominee, Hillary acidly shot back, “Well, it will be me.” [Read]

Lloyd Bentsen, who served as Treasury Secretary during the Clinton administration, observed how Hillary’s “holier-than-thou” attitude often lead her to demonize her opponents – remember Hillary’s paranoid remark about the “vast right wing conspiracy”?



Let’s not forget all those who ended up on Hillary’s fabled enemy list: Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers, Kenneth Starr, Senators who doubted her, and even the Washington Post. Biographer Carl Bernstein notes how “Hillary’s willingness to demonize her enemies had left [Daniel Patrick Moynihan] with lasting caution about her.”

Enemy lists, paranoid fantasies, a supercilious attitude, and self-righteous crusades – shades of Richard Milhous Nixon.

Chinese Sacked For Violating One Child Policy

Authorities in a central China province have expelled hundreds of people from the Communist Party or their government posts for having more than one child, state media said Monday.

At least 93,084 people in Hubei province last year had more children than they were allowed under the policy of one per family, Xinhua news agency said quoting the provincial family planning commission.

They included 1,678 officials or party members, it added, saying about 500 had been expelled from the party and 395 stripped of their official posts.
